This piece is a reflection of the “aka’-sōō’a-pū” red flowering bush native to Colorado and various mountain terrain of the Rockies. Original Ute territory. Traditionally made northern Ute belt bag. Made out of brain tanned deer hide. Every stitch and design is made by feel of artist. Nothing ever traced or drawn out.
